Directors Seth Gordon (KING OF KONG, HORRIBLE BOSSES, FOUR CHRISTMASES) & Nikki Calabrese (SMALL TOWN NEWS) sit down to talk the Slamdance World Premiere of their Fargo-esque true crime doc, UNDER THE RAINBOW: THE CURIOUS CRIMES OF THE RUBY SLIPPERS.

Under the Rainbow: The Curious Crimes of the Ruby Slippers traces the theft and recovery of the world’s most sought-after movie memorabilia – The Ruby Slippers from The Wizard of Oz – that sends a small Minnesota town reeling. The cast of characters along the way includes the delinquent kin of an iconic comedian, a mafia hitman turned pot farmer, a cop who found her calling as an investigative local reporter, and a museum curator with a lifelong devotion to Judy Garland. A maze of clues and calamities unfolds, delivering unexpected twists and turns in small-town life and big-time crime, proving that even the most outlandish capers can reveal profound truths.

Harrod spills about growing up with a famous filmmaker father and how he balances preserving Les Blank's legacy with his own documentary projects.
